Please complete this online form to apply for membership with the North West Indigenous Council. Your application will be reviewed by the Member and/or Executive Committee for approval. We may contact you if there are any questions or clarification required prior to approval. We are in the process of setting up our new membership card printer. Once we have this in place we will require a photo from each member to be able to process your physical membership card. What type of membership are you applying for?

1. Full Member: Members are Aboriginal persons 16 years of age or older and eligible to vote at a General Meeting, to be Directors and to hold office. Full Memebrs must have been resident of the Province of British Columbia for the three (3) consecutive months prior to the application; and over 16 years of age at the the time of the application; must be of Aboriginal ancestry which includes status and non-status Indians, Inuit and Metis peoples of Canada (defines by Section 35 of the Constitutiion Act; 1982)

2. Associate Member: The spouse and children of a Full Member who do not themselves qualify for Full Membership may become Associate Members.

3. Honorary Member: A person who in the opinion of the Directors of Members merits special consideration may be accepted as an Honorary Member of the Society by a resolution of Directors or an Annual General Meeting of Members.

I confirm that I will comply with the Society Act, the Constitution and Bylaws of the North West Indigenous Council (NWIC), any rules or policies and rules of governing the conduct of General Meetings of NWIX. I will notify NWIC of any change in my address.
